These cocktail recipes, crafted by our community of bartenders and friends, were created to complement the flavor of our tequila. Enjoy reinvented classics like the Paloma and the Margarita, or an Old Fashioned updated by adding El Tesoro Añejo.

LA COPA DE CAMARENA

EL Tesoro™ Reposado or Añejo tequila

Add all the ingredients to a Boston shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with an orange peel.


LA JOYA EL TESORO
½ part
El Tesoro™ Blanco tequila
1 part
Chareau® aloe vera liqueur
2 parts
crémant wine
Glass
Collins
Garnish
Fresh mint
Start by combining large, rectangular ice with a cucumber slice in a Collins glass. Then add the tequila and the Chareau, mix with a barspoon and top it with crémant wine. Garnish with fresh mint.


TESORO TROPICAL
2 parts
El Tesoro™ Blanco tequila
¾ part
pineapple and cinnamon syrup
¾ part
fresh lime juice
Soda water
2 basil leaves
Glass
Rocks
Garnish
Basil leaf
Add the lime and the basil leaves to a Boston shaker and muddle lightly. Add ice. Combine the remaining ingredients, except soda water, in the Boston shaker. Shake vigorously. Double strain into a rocks glass filled with new ice. Top with a splash of soda water and garnish with a basil leaf.


LA MORENITA
2 parts
El Tesoro™ Reposado tequila
¾ part
fresh lime juice
½ part
fresh orange juice
½ part
tamarind puree
¼ part
agave nectar
For the spice rim
Pinch of ground sea salt
Pinch of dried, crushed ancho chilies
Pinch of crushed demerara sugar
Pinch of dried, crushed ancho chilies
Pinch of crushed demerara sugar
Glass
Rocks
Garnish
Lime twist
Mix salt, ancho chili and demerara sugar to create a spice mix. Use a lime wedge to lightly moisten half of the glass rim. Gently roll one side of the glass in the mixture.
Add all the ingredients to a Boston shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Rim a rocks glass with spicy salt. Double strain into a rocks glass over new ice. Garnish with a lime twist.

Domaine de Canton® ginger liqueur

simple syrup

crème de cassis

Lime wheel
Mix all the ingredients except the crème de cassis and club soda in a Boston shaker filled with ice, then shake vigorously. Double strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice. Top with club soda and drizzle with cassis. Garnish with a lime wheel.


EL TESORO MARGARITA
2 parts
El Tesoro™ Blanco tequila
¾ part
fresh lime juice
¾ part
agave syrup (2 parts agave nectar, 1 part water)
For the spice rim
Pinch of crushed kosher salt
Pinch of ancho chili flakes
Lime zest
Pinch of ancho chili flakes
Lime zest
Glass
Rocks
Garnish
Lime wheel
Mix salt, ancho chili and lime zest to create a spice mix. Use a lime wedge to lightly moisten half of the glass rim. Gently roll one side of the glass in the mixture.

Add all the ingredients to a Boston shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Double strain into a coupe glass and serve up. Garnish with an edible flower.


SUELO ROJO DE LA ALTEÑA
1½ parts
El Tesoro™ Blanco tequila
1 part
fresh lime juice
¾ part
agave syrup
2 parts
fresh red beet juice
Ginger beer
Glass
Collins
Garnish
Fresh mint
Place all the ingredients in a Boston shaker with ice (except the ginger beer). Shake vigorously. Strain over a Collins glass filled with crushed ice. Top with ginger beer and garnish with fresh mint.


LA ALTEÑA OLD FASHIONED
2 parts
El Tesoro™ Añejo tequila
⅛ part
agave syrup
2 dashes
chocolate bitters or mole bitters
Glass
Rocks
Garnish
Orange peel
Combine all the ingredients in a rocks glass filled with one large ice cube. Stir until chilled. Twist an orange peel over the cocktail and place it into the glass.


YELLOW SPICE
1½ parts
El Tesoro™ Reposado tequila
2 small wheels
serrano chili
1 part
passionfruit puree
¾ part
agave syrup
½ part
fresh lime juice
½ part
Aperol®
Glass
Rocks
Garnish
Lime wheel and amareno cherry
Combine all the ingredients in a Boston shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Double strain over a glass filled with cubed ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and an amareno cherry.


PASSION PALOMA
2 parts
El Tesoro™ Blanco or Reposado tequila
½ part
fresh lime juice
½ part
passionfruit puree
A pinch of salt
Grapefruit soda
For the spice rim
Pinch of ground sea salt
Pinch of dried, crushed ancho chilies
Pinch of crushed demerara sugar
Pinch of dried, crushed ancho chilies
Pinch of crushed demerara sugar

Highball
Garnish
Grapefruit
Mix salt, ancho chili and sugar to create a spice mix. Use a lime wedge to lightly moisten half of your glass rim. Gently roll one side of your glass in the mixture.
Now fill the highball glass with ice, add fresh lime juice, a pinch of salt, El Tesoro™ Blanco or Reposado tequila and passionfruit puree. Stir until chilled. Top with grapefruit soda and garnish with a grapefruit peel.
