Passion Paloma


2 oz El Tesoro™ Blanco or Reposado tequila

½ oz fresh lime juice

½ oz passionfruit puree

A pinch of salt

Grapefruit soda

Garnish: grapefruit

Spice rim: ground sea salt, ancho chilies, and Demerara sugar

  1. Mix salt, ancho chili and sugar to create a spice mix.
  2. Use a lime wedge to lightly moisten half of your glass rim and gently roll one side of your glass in the mixture.
  3. Fill the highball glass with ice, add fresh lime juice, a pinch of salt, El Tesoro™ Blanco or Reposado tequila and passionfruit puree.
  4. Stir until chilled.
  5. Top with grapefruit soda.
  6. Garnish with a grapefruit peel.
